Managing email sender details

You email sender details are who your TalkBox communications will appear as ‘from’ when recipients view them in their email inbox. The sender details consist of two parts, the name and the address.

Name this is the name that displays. It should typically be set as the name of your business.
Address – this is the email address that displays. It should typically be set as a marketing email on a dedicated subdomain of your business, such as info or hello@news.mybusinessname.com

In the example above, the name is “Events Team” and address is “events@noaddress.email”.

It is considered best practice to set up a subdomain for marketing activities. This means you have flexibility for applying DMARC policies and ensuring business critical emails are still protected.
